What type of beer will be brewed?

At the first 2 retreats, we foraged ingredients from the land and crafted a true taste of Nootka Sound.  Wild yeast we harvested from plants and flowers, cedar and fir trees provided more flavours.  What we brew for year 3 can be a collective decision.

(Although we will be brewing beer – no Yeast will be on-site.  When you add yeast, you legally make beer.  So in fact, we will be making wort.)

How do I get there?

Private bus transportation is included in your ticket price.  Pickup and drop-off from either Campbell River Airport or Comox Airport.  Scheduled pickup and drop-times to be determined closer to retreat dates.  We work closely with you when you book your ticket.  Hosts from Craft Beer & Wilderness will travel with you to the resort.  The private bus transfer time is approximately 2 hours to Moutcha Day (near Gold River), then you will be transferred by chartered boat (a 15 minute ride) to Nootka Sound Resort.  Once there, you will be checked in by the Nootka Resort manager and staff.

Please visit Travel Directions for more information on how to get to Nootka Sound Resort.
